A small boutique hotel in an old stone house, deep in the lanes of the Old City. One hundred metres from Jaffa Gate, ten minutes on foot to the Western Wall, with a terrace that looks out over the Quarter.

Walk in through Jaffa Gate, turn down a lane, and stop at an iron door in a stone wall. Behind it: white rooms beneath ancient vaults, a terrace above the rooftops of the Quarter, and a quiet that seems impossible a hundred metres from the crowds.

The historic house stands on a quiet lane between the Armenian and Jewish Quarters. What the stone gave us, we left alone: vaulted ceilings, arches, deep windows and an inner courtyard.
Inside, we built calm white rooms: black iron, natural wood, crisp linen, yellow flowers on the table. No two rooms are alike, because no two arches in the house are alike.
And in the evening, up to the terrace. The rooftops of the Quarter below, the Temple Mount on the horizon, and the whole city going quiet.
From a room for two to a two‑bedroom suite. Each one is shaped around its own arches, and every one has a large double bed, a private bathroom and the hush of thick stone walls.

The photos online are impressive, but in reality it takes your breath away. Every detail is cared for, and the view looks out over every quarter of the Old City.

10A truly amazing trip
Ephraim went above and beyond. He walked us to the door, helped carry our things both ways, and even posted back a watch we left behind. A magical place.
10Exceptional
When he realised there were three of us, he upgraded us to a bigger room on his own initiative, at no extra charge. See you next year.
10Quiet, comfort, great location
They met us at Zion Gate and walked us to the hotel. If you want a special atmosphere, quiet and easy access, this is completely the hotel for you.
